The First Wesleyan Church of Bradford will hold its annual kids fun day from 1 until 3 p.m. on Saturday at the North Kendall Park.
Due to the hot weather predicted for this weekend, the annual Wesleyan event will focus around water games and activities.
There will be water balloons and squirt guns, a sponge toss, and a pool noodle race, plus many other fun water soaking games. A new game that the members of the First Wesleyan Church have added this year is the human ring toss.
Church officials are reminding guests to be prepared to get wet, and dress accordingly.
The members of the church will be providing free food to those in attendance. Hot dogs, bags of chips, cotton candy, and bottled water will be available. Kids will also be able to design their own cookies and win candy prizes.
There will also be a tattoo booth, an obstacle course, and a tug of war challenge available for children to enjoy.
Some special animal guests may make an appearance to promote the First Wesleyan Church’s Vacation Bible School event, titled “welcome to the jungle.” This week-long event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. from July 23 to 27at The First Wesleyan Church located at 692 S. Kendall Ave.
Hull Electric will be providing the members of the church with the water they will use for the water games and activities.
