A Rixford man was arrested Tuesday on allegations that he had indecent contact with a 13-year-old girl in October.
Anthony J. Schoonover, 22, was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Richard Luther on charges of corruption of minors, a third-degree felony, and indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old, a second-degree misdemeanor.
According to court records, on Oct. 11, while Schoonover and the girl were sitting on a couch watching a movie, he took her right hand and put it on his private area, then put his hand on hers under a pillow until her mother saw what was happening and yelled.
Schoonover is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail, and he has a Central Court appearance set for July 19.
