KANE — A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Portville, N.Y., man accused of strangling a woman over the weekend.
At 5:55 p.m. Saturday, Terry G. Miller, 63, of Portville, appeared at the McCrea Brook home of a 44-year-old Eldred Township woman and started arguing with her. He then allegedly strangled her, restricting her airway, Kane-based state police reported.
According to police, Miller pushed the woman and left in a vehicle.
The following charges were filed: strangulation, a second-degree felony; simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; disorderly conduct, a third-degree misdemeanor; and harassment and criminal mischief, both summary charges, court records stated.
It does not appear Miller was arraigned on the charges as of press time Sunday.
