A Bradford man is in McKean County Jail on allegations he solicited a sexual act from a juvenile female on two separate occasions.
Joseph B. Frontera III, 25, was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Dominic Cercone for two criminal cases. In both cases, Frontera is charged with promoting prostitution of a minor and unlawful contact with a minor-prostitution, both third-degree felonies; and corruption of minors, a first-degree misdemeanor.
According to the criminal complaint, at 6:30 p.m. on May 30, Frontera approached a girl in Hanley Park on Davis Street and started talking to her. He allegedly offered her $20 to have sex with him; when she said no, he asked if she would perform other sexual acts for the same amount of money.
The girl, whose age was not indicated in court records, spotted her friends and left.
Then, at 9:15 p.m. on June 11, Frontera messaged a 13-year-old on Facebook and asked if she would perform a sexual act on him in exchange for money, court records stated. He allegedly sent the message from a friend’s house on Kiwanis Court.
Frontera is incarcerated in lieu of a total of $30,000 for the two cases. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on July 12.
