Frances Sherman VFW Auxiliary is hosting a euchre tournament Sunday at VFW Post 212 at 94 Barbour St.
Participants are asked to sign up by noon, with euchre commencing at 1 p.m. Early sign-ups are welcome. Pre-register at 368-3011.
The tournament is in memory of Mary Ellen Farnsworth and proceeds will benefit the VFW Post 212/Auxiliary 212’s Homeless Veterans Fund in conjunction with the YWCA Homeless Veteran cause. Seeing a need for a homeless veteran to have access to safety, security, food and just plain help, a fund has been kickstarted for that reason.
Donation for the Euchre Tournament is $10 and that includes a door prize entry, lunch buffet, coffee and water. Cash bar is available with proper ID. The public is welcome.
