Upper Allegheny Health System’s member hospitals, Bradford Regional Medical Center and Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital, recently announced new logos to further reflect their affiliation with Kaleida Health.
The logos reflect the health system’s connection to Kaleida Health while illustrating the commitment of BRMC and OGH to their respective communities.
“Our new logos reinforce our integration with Kaleida Health and enhance our branding as a premier healthcare organization in the communities we serve while recognizing the individuality of our hospitals and health centers,” said Timothy J. Finan, president, chief executive officer, UAHS, BRMC and OGH. “The affiliation, now represented in a new brand, is part of our commitment to continue to provide our region with world class healthcare.
“The community will begin to see the new logo very soon on everything from stationery, to marketing materials, to uniforms and eventually building signage,” Finan said.
“The logo changes will also identify our satellite locations and physician practices under the Kaleida brand including Foothills Medical Group, Omega Family Medicine, Cuba Family Health Care and Bradford Regional Medical Services,” he said.
Kaleida Health’s logo was designed in 1998 to symbolize its broad spectrum of healthcare services and to show how numerous hospitals came together and the diverse communities the organization serves.
“The branding of UAHS, Olean General Hospital and Bradford Regional Medical Center under Kaleida Health is a further demonstration of our partnership and commitment to patients across the region,” said Michael Hughes, chief of staff, Kaleida Health.
“The partnership is a key element in ensuring that residents of the Twin Tiers receive the finest high quality healthcare at UAHS hospitals and healthcare centers now and in the future. At the same time the affiliation provides greater access and service availability to Kaleida Health facilities and specialists,” he said.
UAHS began its relationship with Kaleida Health in 2013 when a jointly operated interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory opened at OGH and jointly established a home care agency, the VNA of Northwestern Pennsylvania in Bradford.
The relationship resulted in an affiliation between Kaleida Health and UAHS in July 2017 when Kaleida Health became the parent organization of UAHS and its member hospitals.
Under the affiliation, Upper Allegheny Health System now provides financial, integrated technology, human resources, revenue management and marketing support to Kaleida Health’s Twin Tier emerging affiliates including Brooks-TLC Hospital System Inc., and Cuba Memorial Hospital.
