Chapel Ridge’s ninth annual health and wellness fair for seniors will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the personal care home at 200 St. Francis Drive in Bradford.
The event is free and open to the public.
Statistics show that seniors who are well-informed about potential health issues can control them and live a longer, healthier life.
Chapel Ridge, located on the campus of Bradford Ecumenical Home, Inc. is partnering again with the United Way of the Bradford Area Inc. to provide this event to members of our community.
Over 40 local health related organizations and businesses will participate in the event. Educational information will be available on various health topics. Some of the screenings and information that will be available include: Allegheny Vein and Vascular will be offering vascular screening; exercise examples will be shown by BRMC SMART Clinic; and Genesis Rehabilitation Services will provide grip strength testing.
C.A. Curtze Co. will provide light refreshments to participants throughout the day.
