Bill and Dot Lantz Sluga of 12 Anderson St., Mount Jewett, recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with their family. They were married June 5, 1948, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mount Jewett. They are the parents of Billie (Arnie) Haskins of Coudersport, Lance Sluga and Scott Sluga of Mount Jewett and the late Vicki Carrow. They have seven grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Mrs. Sluga retired in 1980 from Stackpole Carbon Co. in Kane. Mr. Sluga was employed by Dresser Manufacturing Division in Bradford until retiring in 1990 after 39 years of service.
