EMPORIUM –– An Emporium man was taken into custody Thursday on charges he engaged in inappropriate contact with three female teenagers in April.

Emporium-based state police say that on April 1, John Charles Wilson, 21, of North Chestnut Street, allegedly engaged in inappropriate contact with a 14-year-old girl and on April 20 he also allegedly engaged in inappropriate contact with a 14-year-old girl and two 15-year-old girls.

Wilson was taken before District Judge Barry Brown where bail was set at $15,000 for the first incident and $5,000 for the second.

He was unable to post bail and was committed to the McKean County Jail.
