A Bradford man who allegedly choked his girlfriend has been charged for the altercation.

Raymond “Goober” Kelley, 31, of 32 S. Center St., is charged with strangulation, a second-degree felony; simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; and harassment, a summary offense.

According to court records, on May 22, Kelley assaulted a female at a residence the two share.

He was arraigned before District Judge Dom Cercone, posted $5,000 percentage bail and is set to appear in Central Court on June 7.
