The Bradford Memorial Day parade will begin at 10:15 a.m. Monday, with participants lining up at 9 a.m. on Davis Street beside Tops Market.
At the front will be the Bradford City Fire Department, the honor guard, fire trucks, and a police escort carrying the flag.
Next will be veterans, as follows: VFW Post 212 & Color Guard; American Legion Post 108; Grand Marshal – Walt Farrell Vietnam Veteran – Army – escorted by Bill Huber; Elmer DeLucia escorted by Pat Buccolini; Open Arms Church – truck with veterans; STEPS Drop In Center float with veterans;
Walking veterans, any service vehicles manned by veterans, veteran floats; Ecumenical Home Veterans float and vans; Bradford Marching Owls playing ‘African Symphony’ with director Kathy Thumpston; Frances Sherman VFW 212 Auxiliary float; American Legion Post 108 Auxiliary w/ 2018 Little Miss Poppy Maia Peters; DAV van driven by Scott Bloomgren;
Fretz Marching Band playing ‘Soldiers of Fortune’ by Victor Lopez with director Chris Amidon; Miss McKean County Maya Ervin, Miss Bradford High Bethany Bednez, Bradford Area Little League w/truck, Bradford Area Girl Scouts, Bradford Area Boy Scouts;
Open Arms Church – Community Outreach; ABATE Motorcycle members; Bradford Township Fire Trucks; Area fire trucks/pumpers/rescue/ambulance; and the remainder of participants, with the Wanderers MC Inc. bringing up the end of the parade.
Following the parade will be the Memorial Day service in Veterans Square.
