Firefighters with the Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department were called to a fire Wednesday morning at Georgia Pacific, 1 Owens Way.
Fire Chief Dan Burkouse said the small fire occurred at 7:30 a.m. and was at the site of a machine breakdown inside the building.
No one was injured, he said.
Burkhouse said the fire was small and was contained to the area of the machine, along with paper scrap in the immediate area. There was no structural damage.
Three engines and 10 firefighters from Bradford Township went to the scene, and the following fire departments were put on standby: Bradford City, Lewis Run and Derrick City.
He said the building was evacuated while firefighters put out the blaize, but employees were able to return back to work. Firefighters were on scene a little over an hour.
Burkhouse said that the company had expected repairs on the machine to be done by Wednesday afternoon but he was not sure of that outcome.
