SMETHPORT — A Bradford man will serve time in state prison for allegations that he robbed a Bradford home, taking prescription medication.
Patrick M. Carpenter, 34, was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court before President Judge John Pavlock to nine months to two years in state prison. Carpenter has credit for 72 days of time served.
He pleaded guilty April 26 to charges of robbery and criminal trespassing.
District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer said on the day that Carpenter pleaded guilty that on March 6, he entered a residence without privilege to do so and took Suboxone.
