There will be much to take in at the Women’s Power Surge Conference titled “It is Well — Mind, Body, Soul.” The conference is being held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. this Saturday at the Bromeley Family Theater.
Four main stage speakers will be present to engage with the audience. There will also be live musical worship with Red Letter Hymnal, a Christian, alternative band from Pittsburgh and a special appearance from the dancers of the Bradford Area Dance Center. Emcee Steve Smith will also be included in the musical rotation.
The speakers include Justin Willoughby of Bradford, Lorraine Serra and Dana Arcuri of Pittsburgh and Friends of the Heart of Millersburg.
The speakers desire to bring the women of the community together with encouragement and support utilizing skits, music, motivation and resources. Drawings, door prizes, vendors and a lunch will be included with the ticket cost of the conference.
Tickets are $32 each for adults; teens who are accompanied by an adult will pay a reduced cost of $10 for their ticket.
Throughout the conference there will be two breakaway sessions for teens in grades six through 12 for age appropriate messages, skits and motivation, uniquely selected just for females of the younger generation.
