SHINGLEHOUSE — A Oswayo man is facing burglary charges after allegedly entering a home after being told he was not to be there due to prior domestic allegations.
Marvin J. Caskey III, 44, of 394 W. Main St., Oswayo, was arraigned Friday before District Judge Kari McCleaft on charges in two cases.
In the first Caskey’s charged in both cases with burglary, a first-degree felony, and two counts of criminal trespassing, one a second-degree felony and the other a third-degree felony; in the second case, he’s also charged with endangering the welfare of children, a third-degree felony; simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; and summary charges of harassment and disorderly conduct.
The criminal complaint states that due to an incident on April 29 at a residence in Roulette Township, Caskey was notified by both the occupant and Sweden Township Police that he was not to be at the home.
At 10:05 a.m. May 4, Caskey forced his way into the residence, knocked down a 13-year-old girl and grabbed his 7-year-old daughter, the criminal complaint stated. He allegedly took the 7-year-old to the Burleson Avenue residence where he was living at the time.
Caskey was committed to Potter County Jail in lieu of $10,000, and preliminary hearings in both cases are scheduled for today.
