SMETHPORT — Sena Kean Manor will celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care week from Sunday through Saturday.
This year’s theme is “celebrating life stories.” Officials at the facility have collected life stories from residents and will be displaying them throughout the week.
Many activities are planned, including a ladies night dinner, visit from miniature ponies, western day with dress-up and a movie, an ice cream social and residents telling their own life stories.
The week will wrap up with Armed Forces Day.
The American Legion and the 4-H youth program will honor veteran residents on Saturday.
