Warren’s Adam Irwin threw a complete game three-hitter to shut Bradford out 6-0 and send the Owls (7-7) to their first loss in four games.
Irwin struck out seven and allowed just six baserunners in the game for the Dragons (11-4).
Warren’s offense was powered by Mitch Grosch, who had a game-high two hits and two RBI. Owen Balas added an RBI double for the Dragons as part of a three-run third inning.
Dan Manion took the loss on the mound for the Owls. He allowed five runs, all of them earned, on seven hits and two walks while striking out three.
Manion also provided a double for Bradford’s lone extra-base hit in the game.
“We didn’t have as good of at-bats as we had the last couple of games when we won three in a row,” Bradford head coach Andy Carlson said. “We made errors and kicked the ball around against a good baseball team.”
Bradford will look to get back in the win column this afternoon against Port Allegany.

BOLIVAR, N.Y. — Parker Cole (2 RBI) hit a run-scoring blooper to left field in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift B-R to one of its biggest wins of the season.
Kristian Miller singled and stole second and he and Micah Crump reached second and third on an error on the following play. With an 0-and-2 count, Cole brought home Miller for the walk-off victory.
Miller and Cole combined to strike out eight and scatter four hits and Nick Rauch added a triple and two RBI for the Wolverines (9-4).
“They’re an excellent team, very well-coached,” B-R coach Dustin Allen said of 9-3 Coudersport. “My guys played the way they’re capable of playing tonight. Kristian came out and threw an excellent game for us, and we made the plays behind him. When you don’t have any errors and only eight strikeouts, that means we’re fielding the ball. We got the timely hits when we needed them. That’s a big win for us.”
With five games in four days for B-R this week, “we started out on a great note,” Allen added.
Kolby Van Why (RBI) and Elliott Hite (double) both had a hit for Coudersport.
