An Eldred man has been accused of threatening through social media to harm another man.
Todd H. Stahli, 23, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Richard Luther on charges of terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; and harassment, a third-degree misdemeanor.
According to court records, at 8:11 p.m. April 28, Kane-based state police were called to Looker Mountain Trail for a report of harassment. There, Steven Hardway Jr. told police that Stahli was sending him threatening messages through Facebook/Messenger.
Stahli allegedly sent several messages to Hardway, including, “Better have you piece gonna have to plug me down bring all your homies. F*** with a Stahli get picked by a Stahli” and “See you TN or will just wait for you to step out side then your done,” the criminal complaint stated.
Also, Stahli allegedly sent his ex-girlfriend a message saying he was going to kill Hardway that night and stating “ball bat to the side of the head,” according to the complaint.
Around 11 p.m. April 28, Stahli allegedly appeared at Hardway’s residence “and attempted to get in his face,” court records stated. Hardway told Stahli he didn’t want to fight, and Stahli allegedly told Hardway that if he kept contacting his ex-girlfriend through Snapchat, “it would not be pretty.”
Stahli is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on May 10.
