M&M Contractors of Johnsonburg continued work Monday on preparing the approximately 40’x40′ area for the pad where the recycling bins will be located at the Good Growing Gardens along U.S. Route 6, west of Smethport. Concrete is slated to be poured Thursday. During this construction, the recycling bins are temporarily located in Smethport at the Shawmut Trailhead located on the western side of Route 6, north of the Marvin Street Bridge and the Dollar General Store.
