SMETHPORT — A Bradford man accused of using a vehicle without permission pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court.
James F. Hochstine, 45, entered the plea to charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and DUI. He will be sentenced May 17.
Court records filed at the time of his arrest indicated that on Dec. 27, Hochstine, who was intoxicated, jumped into the driver’s seat of a car that was parked at McDonald’s in Bradford and drove it away.
Emily S. Reitz, 22, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of furnishing liquor to a minor. She will be sentenced May 17.
Also in court, Robert D. Reed, 52, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft. He will be sentenced May 17.
Heather Carter, 20, of Rixford, pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft. She will be sentenced May 17.
The following people have been accepted into Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program: James Y. Mun, 19, of Bradford, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; Michael P. Brien, 48, of Bradford, and Gregory J. Kinch, 19, of Newville, both for possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI-controlled substance; and the following people for DUI-alcohol: Brian M. Carey, 40, of Bradford, Michael H. Woods, 58, of Kane, Scott M. Larson, 25, of Port Allegany, Kenneth M. Miller II, 36, of Kane, and Samuel R. Croskey, 30, of Tarentum.
