Now that winter has, hopefully, subsided, many townships and boroughs are preparing to host town wide yard sales.

On June 2 in Kane, the Kane General Chamber of Commerce will host a community wide garage sale. In order to register your home for the sale visit registeronline@generalchamber.com.

The Smethport Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2018 Town Wide Yard Sale for the season on May 4-5.

The Rotary Club of Port Allegany will host a collective community sale on May 12 beginning at 8 a.m.; registration to participate is essential.

Potential vendors can pick up registration forms at Fox’s’ Pizza Den, Port Pharmacy or the Northern Tier Children’s Home. Registration forms must be completed and returned before May 9 in order to be featured on the community sale map.

Bradford’s community wide yard sale will be May 26 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Registration forms are due by May 14 with accompanying fee and can be picked up or turned in to the Tin Ceiling Shoppe on Main Street; completed forms can also be mailed to P.O. Box 490. Vendor maps will be available by May 19 for a dollar.

Lisa Hannahs is in charge of the organization of the Eldred town wide get-together, where there will be a live concert, vendors, crafts, artisans, direct sales, food and more. In order to reserve a space or for more information contact Hannahs at 331-3301 or lisahannahs@gmail.com.

The event is scheduled to take place on June 16 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with vendors on Main Street and a concert to follow at 5 p.m. in the park.
