SMETHPORT — A Port Allegany man accused of assaulting two men was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court to a term in state prison.
Christopher D. Link, 27, of Port Allegany, will serve nine month to two years in state prison with credit for 173 days of time served for charges of criminal trespassing, simple assault and a summary charge. Link pleaded guilty March 29 to allegations that on Oct. 23, he entered an East Mill Street, Port Allegany, residence, struck a man in the head— fracturing the man’s head and jaw — and struck another man.
Megan S. Lewis, 26, of Bradford, will serve nine month to two years in state prison for charges of conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility.
On April 12, Lewis pleaded guilty to allegations that on April 18, 2017, she conspired with Jennifer Yeager to deliver .43 grams of cocaine. Lewis used a communication facility to set up the delivery with a confidential informant with the McKean County Drug Task Force, and Yeager made the delivery.
Clifford C. Carpenter, 48, of Bradford, will serve seven to 14 months in McKean County Jail with 129 days of credit for time served and three years of probation for charges of endangering the welfare of children, and simple assault. Carpenter entered a guilty plea March 29 to allegations that he assaulted a 10-year-old and two 8-year-olds, pushing them into doorways and walls, punching them in the stomach, pulling them by the ears and more.
Scott R. Best, 49, of Eldred, will serve five to 23 ½ months in McKean County Jail with credit for nine days of time served and two years of concurrent probation for drug charges in two cases. He’s charged in one with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility, and in the second he’s charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance. Best pleaded guilty March 29 to allegations that on Jan. 5, 2017, he set up a drug delivery using a communication facility, then he sold four Suboxone pills that contained buprenorphine to a confidential informant who was under the surveillance of the McKean County Drug Task Force; then, on March 30, 2017, he sold five Suboxone pills that contained buprenorphine.
Ty W. Hallock, 19, of Bradford, will serve eight to 23 ½ months in McKean County Jail with credit for 166 days of time served for charges in three cases. He’s charged in one case with loitering and prowling at night time, in the second with resisting arrest and in the third with conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking. On March 29, Hallock pleaded guilty to allegations that between midnight and 12:50 a.m. on Oct. 6, he was prowling on the steps of a Bradford apartment; on Nov. 4, he fled from Bradford City police officers who were trying to arrest him and hid himself in an enclosed, padlocked area surrounded by an eight-foot fence; and on Dec. 15, he agreed with Rayquan Raymond to commit theft in McKean County Jail.
Richard P. Fetzeck, 42, of Bradford, will serve five years in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a summary charge. Fetzeck pleaded guilty March 29 to allegations that on Feb. 2, while under the influence of alcohol, he drove a 2012 GMC Terrain without the consent of the owner or a valid driver’s license.
Javin Howell, 36, of Kane, will serve five years in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and summary charges.
Jared M. McAndrew, 21, of Bradford, will serve seven days to one year in McKean County Jail and a concurrent term of 18 months of probation for a charge of theft by unlawful taking. On March 29, McAndrew pleaded guilty to allegations that on July 1, he took money and video games worth $372 from someone.
Matthew E. Haven, 38, of Bradford, will serve two years in the Intermediate Punishment Program for a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and summary charges.
Jeremy B. Dalaba, 35, of Bradford, will serve one year of probation for a charge of simple assault.
Jordan M. Reams, 20, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. According to Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade, on Feb. 3, Reams struck a female and shoved her during a mutual consent fight. He will be sentenced May 17.
Jacob J. Tarr, 25, of Port Allegany, will serve two days to one year in McKean County Jail for a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary charge.
Eugene Kontz of Bradford will serve two days to one year in McKean County Jail with credit for two days of time served for a charge of disorderly conduct.
Tobias G. Greo, 28, of St. Marys, will pay a fine of $200 for a summary harassment charge.
