WELLSVILLE, N.Y. — A Port Allegany, Pa., man has been charged with selling heroin in the Village of Wellsville in 2016.
Levon D. Mack, 34, is charged with two counts each of sale of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, and one count of conspiracy, all felonies.
Police said that in September 2016, Mack sold heroin in the village.
Mack was transported from the Potter County Jail, processed and arraigned before Associate Wellsville Village Justice Walsh. Mack was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 property bond.
Mack is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 24 at 4:30 p.m.
Wellsville Police were assisted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team.
