RIDGWAY — Ridgway-based state police reported that multiple agencies are involved in the investigation of an assault by an adult on a child that allegedly occurred Friday at Ridgway Middle School.
According to police, at 1:10 p.m. Friday, a 40-year-old man was engaged in a physical altercation with a 14-year-old boy while school was in session. The boy is listed as the victim.
The names of the people involved have not been released. Police did not say if the alleged victim was hurt.
The investigation is ongoing.
