DUBOIS  — DuBois Central Catholic used a nine-run second inning to defeat Elk County Catholic 15-0 in a three-inning game on Tuesday.

ECC starter Brady Schneider held the Cardinals (6-0) to just one run in the first frame, but DCC brought 15 men to the plate to blow the game open in the second.

Anthony Kness led DCC with four RBI, while Justin Mikins went 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBI. Domenic Toretti hurled a one-hitter over his three innings of work on the bump for the Cardinals.

The Crusaders (1-5) play next at Brockway on Thursday
