PORT ALLEGANY — Port Allegany’s water system had no violations during 2017, Borough Manager Robert Veilleux announced Thursday.
Each year, communities that provide water service are required by the state Department of Environmental Protection to complete a consumer confidence report that provides information about the quality of water provided by its public water system and any violations that occurred. The borough “continues to provide safe, high quality drinking water to its residents,” according to a press release from Veilleux.
A copy of the consumer confidence report is available at https://uswpm12.newsmemory.com/bradfordera/news/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2018/04/1catatrqk_106348.4e27ab67fd5d28aab599a48306cb66ce.pdf.
Residents who want a paper copy of the report can pick one up at the borough office or can request a copy by calling 642-2526.
