SMETHPORT — A Kane man who pleaded guilty last month to firearm allegations was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court to a term in state prison.
Matthew J. Calloway, 32, will serve 21 to 42 months in state prison for a charge of person not to possess firearms. On March 8, Calloway pleaded guilty to allegations that on March 20, 2017, he possessed a loaded gun, even though he is not allowed to because of a delinquency adjudication for burglary.
Also in court, Robert L. Gamet Jr., 38, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance in two cases. District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer said that Gamet delivered about a quarter of an ounce of marijuana on two occasions, once on July 19, 2016, and the second time on May 30, 2017. He will be sentenced May 17.
Ricky L. Anderson, 51, of Bellefonte, will serve one to five years in state prison with credit for 268 days of time served for charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and summary charges.
Brandon M. Veite, 18, of Bradford, will serve five years in the Intermediate Punishment Program for charges of DUI-alcohol and several summary charges.
John W. Harkness, 47, of Bradford, will serve eight months to two years in state prison with credit for 70 days of time served and will pay $120 in restitution for a charge of retail theft. On March 29, Harkness pleaded guilty to allegations that on Jan. 23 he took two beef loins worth a total of $120 from Save-A-Lot in Bradford.
Kenneth T. Goodman, 32, of Kane, will serve one year of probation for a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and summary charges.
Cody A. Gee, 22, of Coudersport, will serve one year of probation for charges of disorderly conduct, defiant trespass and a summary charge. He pleaded guilty March 15 to allegations that on Dec. 19, Gee, who was under the influence of alcohol, made unreasonable noise in the Port Allegany Sheetz and refused to leave after being told to go several times by employees.
Brian T. Wolfgang, 34, of Kane, will serve six months of probation for a charge of DUI and summary charges.
