The latest batch of roster additions to the Big 30 Charities Classic Football game were announced on Thursday. Check back tomorrow for the rest of the newest names.
Erik Delong
Kane Area High School
Height: 5’10”- Weight: 185 Lbs.
Offense: HB- Defense: MLB
Erik plans to attend college; he is still undecided where he will attend. Erik was named D-9 Player of the Year, and Big 30 Defensive Player of the Year. In addition, he was a 3-time AML South All-Star and a 3-time Big 30 All-Star. Erik wants to have one final memory playing football with his friends and coaches. He also wants the Kane fans one last time to watch them play. His most memorable moment playing was being a part of his first District Championship. His hobbies include, guitar, reading, hiking, kayaking, cooking, skydiving and building. His favorite NFL team is the Philadelphia Eagles and his favorite player is Pat Tillman.
Spencer Head
Eisenhower High School
Height: 5’8”- Weight: 160 Lbs.
Offense: QB/RB- Defense: SS
Spencer plans to attend a two-year college, then enter the police academy. He was named a 2nd team county all-star at EHS. Spencer is looking forward to playing in the Big 30 game, because it is a great charity event and he loves playing football. His most memorable moment playing football was beating Seneca in his junior year with 2 seconds left in the game. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and wrestling. Spencer’s favorite NFL team is the Philadelphia Eagles and his favorite player is Carson Wentz.
Dawson Sanderson
Cuba-Rushford
Height: 5’9”- Weight: 165 Lbs.
Offense: QB- Defense: SS
Dawson plans to attend college either Alfred University or a similar college, hopefully playing football and studying Business. Dawson is a high honor roll student at C-RHS and was Captain of his football team. He was also named Player of the Week. He says it is an honor to play in the Big 30 game, and it will help him make a name for himself. Dawson’s favorite memory playing football was when he threw for 250 yards and had 4 touchdowns. His hobbies include, playing sports and video games with the boys. His favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers.
