PITTSBURGH — Gas prices in Western Pennsylvania are up by nearly 11 cents this week to $2.880 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
Pump prices are up as much as 7 cents across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast region on the week. Pennsylvania (+7 cents) saw the largest increase, and at $2.86 per gallon, it also carries the most expensive prices in the region.
With a 3.3 million barrel draw, the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast region saw the largest drop in inventory on the week, according to Energy Information Administration (EIA) data. At 56 million barrels in total, inventories sit 10 million below this time last year.
The average price of unleaded self-serve gasoline in Bradford is $2.881; in Brookville, $2.839; DuBois, $2.868; and Warren, $2.935.
