The All American Awards & Engraving D9Sports.com honors were announced on Monday, with the two-time defending D-9 Class AA Champion Coudersport Lady Falcons well-represented among the annual postseason honors.
Coudy senior Haley Keck was a First Team All-District selection for the second year in a row after averaging 19.7 points per game for the Falcons. Keck finishes her Coudersport career with 1,493 career points.
Elsewhere, freshman Sarah Chambers was named the Rookie of the Year in District 9 after averaging 8.7 points per game and playing big minutes in her first season of varsity action.
Senior Shaelyn Black (14.4 ppg, 8.0 rpg) rounded things out for Coudy with a place on the All-District Third Team.
North Clarion’s Tori Obenrader was named the D-9 Player of the Year for the second straight season. Obenrader finished her career with 2,115 points, good for fifth all-time in D-9 history.
Joining Obenrader and Keck on the All-District First Team were Ellie Thompson (A-C Valley), Ella Marconi (Kane), Emily Hegedus (Karns City), and Leah Miller (Punxsutawney).
Otto-Eldred senior Camryn Thomas — who finished with 1,351 career points — headlines the Second Team along with Alayna Ryan (Clearfield), Malliah Schreck (Cranberry), Ashley Hallowell (DuBois), Taylor Greer (Keystone), and Emily Fullem (Ridgway).
Black is joined on the Third Team by Marcy Schindler (Brookville), Taylor Newton (Elk Catholic), Cassidy King (Johnsonburg), Trinity Clark (Kane), and Abbey Woodard (Smethport).
Brookville’s Mark Powell and North Clarion’s Terry Dreihaup were named Co-Coaches of the Year.
