A theft case that was filed in August against a Bradford man has been dropped.
Court records indicate that Ryan L. McClellen, 32, was scheduled to appear for a preliminary Monday before District Judge David Engman on a single felony charge of theft by unlawful taking; however, the charge was withdrawn.
Meanwhile, a co-defendant in the case, Yvonne L. McClellan, 31, of Mount Jewett, is still facing charges including burglary and theft in the alleged incident.
According to court records, on June 28, she took about $4,000 from a Lafayette Township man’s residence while the tenant was incarcerated. She reportedly had a spare key to the home.
Yvonne McClellan is free on $2,500 unsecured bail in the case, and she is scheduled to appear for a last day to plea conference March 29 in McKean County Court.
