Indecent assault charges against Smethport man bound to court

Indecent assault allegations against a Smethport man were bound to McKean County Court at a hearing Monday before District Judge David Engman.

Kruze J. Carpenter-Stewart, 25, is charged with aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old, corruption of minors and indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old.

Court records indicate the alleged incident occurred Sept. 15 in Mount Jewett Borough.

Stewart is incarcerated in McKean County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
