JOHNSONBURG — Scott Olay of Brockport, PA was the lucky winter of the ghost coyote raffle at the Rolfe Beagle Club’s Statewide Winter Coyote and/or Fox Hunt held Feb. 16-18.
“The ghost coyote raffle ensures that every coyote hunter entered has a chance to win a portion of the prize money,” said Chris Double, hunt organizer for the Rolfe Beagle Club.
The next coyote hunt at the Rolfe Beagle Club is the increasingly popular 10-day coyote and crow hunt from Aug. 29-Sep. 8.
“We offer this 10-day hunt so camp owners up just for the weekend over Labor Day have the opportunity to enter this hunt,” said Chris. “This way, no matter which weekend around labor Day you come up, you still have a chance to shoot at either coyote or crows.”
