Threat charges against an Eldred man were bound to McKean County Court Wednesday at a hearing before District Judge Richard Luther.
Mayhlon R. Troutman, 41, is charged with three counts of terroristic threats, all first-degree misdemeanors; simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; and harassment, a summary charge.
A criminal complaint in the case states that Troutman was arguing with a woman at his residence at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 11. Troutman allegedly came at her after throwing furniture around, and she kicked him in the groin. Troutman then punched her as she was sitting in a chair, causing a small cut with bruising beside her left eye, court records alleged.
Troutman allegedly told the woman her three children were dead, saying he wouldn’t be around but he’d have someone do it. He told her, “I will have your children killed by Christmas,” court records stated.
He is free on $25,000 unsecured bail.
