A Bradford man has been arrested on allegations that he sold hydrocodone to a confidential informant in 2016.
Herbert Howard Leininger, 59, of 120 Summer St., is charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony, and two counts of criminal use of a communication device, third-degree felonies.
District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer said that on Friday, officers with the Bradford City Police Department took Leininger into custody “for crimes relating to the sale of illegal drugs. A complaint had been filed against him in December by the McKean County Drug Task Force and a warrant had been issued at that time.”
According to the criminal complaint, at 8:45 p.m. July 5, 2016, in Tops Market parking lot, Leininger sold 10 hydrocodone pills to a confidential informant of the task force for $70. The sale was observed by two task force officers.
Leininger was arraigned Friday before District Judge Dom Cercone and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
