WILLIAMSPORT — G2 Gymnastics of Shinglehouse traveled to Williamsport to participate in the Climb High Gymnastics Invitational hosted by Dynamats Gymnastics.

The event was held at their newly developed facility with almost 400 athletes representing 13 USA Gymnastics clubs from Pennsylvania. Thirty-seven team members represented G2 at the event. They turned in a solid performance and the Level 2 team was back on top, as they became champions in the team division.

Also bringing home awards in the team division were Level 3’s taking 2nd place, and Level 6’s taking 3rd place. G2 also brought home over 120 individual awards including All Around Champions: Level 2-Kate Mitchell (35.20), Addison Amidon (36.875), Morgan Mattison (35.875); Level 3-Kendra Niver (36.425); and XCEL Gold-Anna Schuessler (37.40). Taking silver in the all arounds were: Level 2-Aeralyn Salada, Sophia Komenda; Level 3-Sara DeLong; XCEL Gold-Ashley Oswald. Bronze winners were: Level 2-Catence Taylor, Mia Shaffer; and Level 3-Genecis Easton. Event Champions included: Level 2-Kate Mitchell (beam-8.90, floor-9.15), Aeralyn Salada (beam-9.325, floor-9.40), Addison Amidon (vault-9.0, beam-9.55, floor-9.425), Morgan Mattison (bars-9.0, floor-9.225), Sophia Komenda (vault-8.55, beam-9.475); Level 3-Sara DeLong (vault-9.10), Hannah Fleniken (vault-9.10), Kendra Niver (beam-9.025, floor-9.375), Genecis Easton (bars-9.125); XCEL Silver-Kaylee Oswald (bars-9.45); XCEL Gold-Ashley Oswald (beam-9.375), Anna Schuessler (floor-9.725); Level 6-Selin Sumer (bars-8.90).

G2 Gymnastics also added five more gymnasts to their USA Gymnastics State roster over the weekend. Congratulations to the following State Qualifiers: Level 3: Brynn Cygan, Level 4: Irelyn Rounsville and Lyzee Nolder, and Level 6: Austin Lawton and Lanie Allen.
G2 Gymnastics will continue to train for the remainder of their season at their new facility located at 2748 State Route 44 Shinglehouse, PA.
