The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford chapter of Habitat for Humanity will be hosting its annual ReStore rummage sale fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 24 in the Richard E. and Ruth McDowell Sport and Fitness Center.
The event is open to the public and everyone is welcome to shop or sell. Vendors will be charged $10 for two 8-foot by 2 ½-foot tables. Vendors may keep profits for the day. Proceeds will benefit Pitt-Bradford’s Habitat for Humanity Chapter as well as the McKean County chapter.
Vendors can secure a spot at the event by mailing their name, number of tables needed, email address for confirmation, and check payable to the University of Pittsburgh, to Maya Bingaman, Box 108, 300 Campus Drive, Bradford, Pa. 16701.
On the day of the event, vendors may set up between 8 and 9 a.m. For any questions, e-mail club president Bingaman atmmb156@pitt.edu. Registrations are due by March 15.
The Pitt-Bradford Habitat for Humanity, although less than a decade old, has already assisted in building multiple homes during alternative spring break trips and performs other service projects in the region such as helping at the Marilla Trail Race, filling bags for the Warren County Backpackular event and assisting the McKean County SPCA with its rabies clinics.
