With the cold weather still sticking around, it may help to know that a hot breakfast is just around the corner.
The Bradford Rotary Club will hold its annual pancake breakfast this Sunday at the Bradford Township Community Center.
Breakfast will begin at 9 a.m., and will last until 12:30 p.m.
Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for children 12 years old and under, and a $20 family special.
The breakfast includes pancakes, sausage and eggs. Refreshments include juice and coffee.
The event is all-you-can-eat.
William Chapman, president of the Rotary Club, as well as an organizer for events, said that they are expecting a good turn out for the pancake breakfast, as they typically have fed around a couple hundred individuals in previous years.
Chapman stated, “It is a great way to see old friends.”
The breakfast is open to the public, and all proceeds from the event will go toward supporting local rotary causes.
Last year, all proceeds went to the Bradford Area Public Library, and was put toward furnishing an area in the library for school-age children.
This included seating, a computer table and display shelving.
The project fit causes of Rotary International. The organization focuses include children, education and community development.
“This pancake breakfast is a way for us to all come together as a community, but also provides community service through a fun social event,” said Chapman.
