DUBOIS — A nice pair of offensive showings from Hannah Lary and Erica Marshall wasn’t enough for the Bradford girls to overcome DuBois, as the Lady Owls fell on Tuesday 62-53.
Lary led Bradford with 23 points, while Erica Marshall notched 15 markers.
“Hannah and Erica both shot extremely well,” BHS coach Bob Hannon said. “They scored 38 of our 53 points. We also got a nice effort out of Kate Huber who played well as a starter. The girls fought hard. We’ve just got to try to string some of these good efforts into wins. They played hard tonight. They shouldn’t hang their heads.”
Ashley Hollowell led DuBois (14-5 overall, 6-3 D9 League) with a game-high 25 points, while Olivia Johnson (14) and Chelsea Desalve (13) also finished in double figures.
Bradford (2-17 overall, 0-7 D9 League) will host Brookville on Friday.
Otto-Eldred 83, Oswayo Valley 49
DUKE CENTER — Otto’s offense was firing on all cylinders on Tuesday, as the Lady Terrors scored 47 points in the first half alone en route to a decisive league win.
Otto had four players finish in double figures while 10 different players scored overall.
Kayley Heller notched an impressive double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Camryn Thomas finished with 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and four steals.
Ali Cousins (15 points) and Autumn Smith (10) also finished in double figures.
Shayla Bickel scored a game-high 20 points for OV, while Karina West and Faith Coole both scored 12 points.
Both teams will be in action on Thursday: Otto-Eldred (18-2 overall, 13-1 NTL) will visit Port Allegany, while Oswayo Valley (6-13 overall, 2-11 NTL) hosts Smethport.
Cameron County 47, Smethport 40
SMETHPORT — Kaelee Bresslin scored 21 points to lead Cameron County to a big league win on the road on Tuesday.
Bresslin hit five 3-pointers to power the Lady Red Raiders’ offense. Alyvia McKimm added 12 points for Cameron County.
Abbey Woodard scored a game-high 26 points for Smethport.
Cameron County (10-11 overall, 10-6 NTL) hosts Coudersport on Thursday, while Smethport (5-13 overall, 4-10 NTL) will visit Oswayo Valley on the same day.
Port Allegany 57, Austin 22
AUSTIN — The Lady Gators put forth an impressive all-around performance on the road in Tuesday’s league win.
Bree Garzel scored a game-high 16 points for Port A, while Cailey Barnett added 13 notches of her own.
Jordan Brewer led Austin with 12 points.
Port Allegany (7-11 overall, 6-7 NTL) hosts Otto-Eldred on Thursday. Austin (0-18 overall, 0-15 NTL) travels to Northern Potter on Thursday.
Northern Potter 50, Galeton 30
GALETON — The Lady Panthers won their fifth-straight game to improve to 10-4 in NTL play on the season.
Mikayla Lewis scored 16 points to lead NoPo, while Kailey Cowburn (13) and Jenna Hyde (11) also finished in double figures.
Makaya Shadle led Galeton with nine points.
Northern Potter (13-5 overall) hosts Austin on Thursday. Meanwhile, Galeton (10-10 overall, 6-9 NTL) will face Northern Potter once again, this time travelling to Ulysses on Friday.

Kane 56, Brockway 17
KANE — The Lady Wolves rode a 24-0 first quarter to pick up their 15th consecutive victory on Tuesday night against Brockway.
Ella Marconi again paced Kane with 16 points, and picked up a double-double with 14 rebounds. Hannah Buhl hit three three-pointers for Kane and added seven helpers.
“I think my girls enjoyed being on their home court and it showed,” Kane head coach Dave Kiehl said. “We have had five straight away games (nine of last 12 games have been away). These girls are playing well are fun to watch.”
Kane (19-1, 9-0) hosts Johnsonburg on Friday night for their final AML game of the season, which will also serve as the team’s senior night.
