EDINBORO — The Bradford High girls indoor track team competed at the Tri-State Coaches Meet on Saturday.
Regan Johnson competed in three events, earning ninth place in both the 60 meter hurdles (8.41) and the 200 (28.08), while also finishing 12th in the long jump (14’5). Ashton McGriff finished in second place in the 400 meters with a time of 59.65.
Alexandra Safran and Emily Bosworth both competed in two events: Safran finished 37th in the 60m hurdles (11.98) and 17th in the triple jump (27’11), while Bosworth was fifth in the 800 meters (2:33.04) and 14th in the mile (5:52.81).
Also competing for Bradford were Taylar Mager (44th in 60m hurdles, 13.19), Chloe Shaw (47th in 400m, 1:19.76), Allyson Luke (27th in shot put, 22’10), Kylie Grover (20’3 in shot put), and Mikayla Bond (13th in high jump, 4’7).
“We had some very good races with Ashton finishing second in the 400 and going under a minute to hit the state indoor qualifying mark,” BHS coach Larry Stillman said. “Emily Bosworth had two excellent races and Regan ran well in the 60 and 200.”
Bradford will be at Houghton on Saturday.
