An Eldred man is in McKean County on allegations of selling suboxone on two occasions last year.
Scott Russell Best, 49, is charged in Foster Township with possession with the intent to deliver, a felony; criminal use of a communication facility, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
On Jan. 5, 2017, when Best resided in Duke Center, he met a confidential informant of the McKean County Drug Task Force at the Bradford Mall and sold four suboxone pills to the informant, court records allege.
In Bradford City, he is facing the same three charges for an alleged incident March 30 at the Uni-Mart at the intersection of Chestnut and Elm streets. At that time, he allegedly sold five suboxone pills to a confidential informant, court records stated.
He was arraigned Thursday before District Judge Rich Luther on the Foster Township charges, and remanded to jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. Also on Thursday, he was arraigned before District Judge Dom Cercone on the Bradford City charges, and remanded to jail on $50,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Jan. 25 in both cases.
Bradford man jailed on drug allegations
A Bradford man was arraigned Thursday before two district judges for separate drug allegations.
Robert Lewis Gamet, 38, of 2 Riley Road, is charged in Bradford City with possession with the intent to deliver, a felony; criminal use of a communication facility, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
In July 2016, in the parking lot of Tops Market in Bradford, Gamet sold marijuana to a confidential informant of the McKean County Drug Task Force.
He is facing the same charges in Foster Township for an incident May 30, 2017. No further details were immediately available.
He was arraigned before District Judge Dom Cercone and released after posting $500 percentage bail. He was arraigned before District Judge Rich Luther and jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
He is scheduled to appear in Central Court Jan. 25 in both cases.
