RIDGWAY — The Elk County Community Foundation is offering a grant to enhance pre-K education.

The foundation will be awarding a grant from the Elk County Society for Special Services Fund in the near future. Grant applications are due by Feb. 1 and grant awards will be determined by March 1.

This is a competitive grant open to non-profits providing Pre-K education, with approximately $3,200 available this year. The grant application should be to improve programs that are already established or to develop a new program. The funds may not be used to cover direct operating expenses of an organization. The grant application is available on the Foundation’s website at www.elkcountyfoundation.com. Organizations serving Pre-K age children are encouraged to apply.
