PORT ALLEGANY — The Falcons bounced back in a big way following their loss to Johnsonburg on Monday night with a 98-38 North Tier League victory over Port Allegany.
Coudersport was led by Owen Chambers, who hit five three-pointers, and finished with 32 points on the game. Hunter Ricke contributed 16 points for the Falcons, winning their first NTL game and improving to 2-1 on the season.
“They played great defense and were able to put the ball in the hoop. It was a typical Coudersport basketball game,” Port Allegany head coach Jeff Stuckey said.
For the Gators (1-4), Howie Stuckey had five three-pointers and 15 points. Port Allegany travels to Cameron County on Thursday night, while Coudersport hosts Kane that same evening.

Galeton 48, Otto-Eldred 46
GALETON — The Tigers hung on to win their first NTL game of the season on Tuesday night over Otto-Eldred.
Isaiah Shuemaker paced Galeton with 15 points, and junior Evan Brooks added 14 of his own.
The game marked the first loss of the season for the Terrors, who had won the first three games of the season all in convincing fashion. Cameron Grigsby pulled down 22 rebounds and had nine points for O-E.

Galeton (2-2) heads to Smethport on Thursday, while Otto-Eldred will host the undefeated Austin Panthers on Thursday.
