LEWIS RUN –– A woman has been temporarily displaced following a fire at a trailer in Lewis Run Thursday.
Lewis Run Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched around 4:30 p.m. to a home in the back of 33 Main St., where smoke was coming from a heater.
Fire chief Don Mason explained the issue was underneath the trailer, and that’s where the firefighter focused their efforts.
Smoke also filled the inside of the structure, he said. The cause of the blaze is undetermined, he said.
The home is currently not livable, Mason said. The woman is staying with a family member and is expected to be in contact with the American Red Cross today.
Firefighters were on scene for about two and a half hours. In addition to Lewis Run, Bradford Township responded to the fire.
