Marc Friedenberg, who is seeking the Democratic nomination to represent Pennsylvania’s Fifth Congressional District, will be in the area on Saturday.
He will hold a stop on his “listening tour” at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Township Municipal Building, 1185 E. Main St..
As part of the campaign, he is visiting each of the 16 counties in the district and offering an unscripted opportunity for residents to share their questions, thoughts, concerns, and vision for what they would like to see from their representative in Congress. All are welcome, regardless of party affiliation.
Friedenberg knows that understanding people’s views is at the core of a public official’s duties, which is why he will be on the road throughout the district, listening to constituents and working to build his campaign around their values and concerns. “For too long, the people of our district have been forgotten. I know that the only way we can fix things is if we listen to and respect each other’s viewpoints. I’m eager to hear from the people of the Fifth District, not only as potential constituents, but as neighbors and fellow countrymen,” he said.
The Fifth District Congressional seat is currently held by U.S. Rep. Glenn Thompson, R-Pa.
