SMETHPORT — A Westline woman was sent to McKean County Jail Thursday following arraignment on trespassing and related charges.
Holli Ann Hull, 45, of 106 El Day Drive, is charged with two counts of criminal trespass, one a second-degree felony and the other a third-degree felony; criminal mischief and loitering and prowling at night, third-degree misdemeanors; and trespassing, a summary offense.
According to court records, at 11:41 p.m. Aug. 11, 2016, police responded to a residential burglary alarm at a Dugout Road, Keating Township, residence. Police found that someone had cut through an air conditioner panel to gain access to the bedroom of the residence, then used a patio stool to climb through the window. Once inside the home, the person activated the motion-detection alarm and then fled the residence, the records stated.
In the immediate area, police found a pair of hoop earrings and a cigarette butt, which were submitted for DNA testing. In May 2017, the results came back as having identified Hull through a DNA match, the criminal complaint alleged.
Police noted that Hull and the homeowner had known each other for several years, the complaint stated.
Hull was arraigned before District Judge Bill Todd and remanded to jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. She is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
Crosby woman arraigned on marijuana allegations
A Crosby woman was arraigned Thursday on allegations that she was growing marijuana in her yard.
Brandi Lynn Bosworth, 43, of 9430 Route 46, is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, a felony; and possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
According to court records, in July 2015, someone emailed the Kane barracks of state police to report a grow operation at Bosworth’s residence. When police arrived at her residence, they observed marijuana growing outside in the yard. They spoke to a male at the residence, who said the plants were Bosworth’s, the records alleged.
Bosworth was arraigned before District Judge Bill Todd and released on $10,000 unsecured bail. She is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
Eldred man charged with making threat
An Eldred man is scheduled to appear in Central Court next Thursday on allegations that he threatened someone with a knife over alleged missing drugs.
Richard Lee Gould III, 28, of 50 Main St., is charged with terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; simple assault and recklessly endangering another person, second-degree misdemeanors; and harassment, a third-degree misdemeanor.
At 9:19 p.m. Nov. 28, state police arrived at Gould’s residence for reports of him allegedly pulling a knife on another man, pointing the knife at him and threatening to kill him. The alleged victim said he and his girlfriend were babysitting at Gould’s residence when he went in the bathroom and saw a bag of drugs. Later, when Gould returned home, he accused the man of stealing the drugs, pointed the knife at him and told him he had 24 hours to get him $250 or Gould would kill him, the court records stated.
As the man was leaving, he heard Gould on the phone telling someone to bring a gun over so he could “take care of him,” the records allege.
Gould was arraigned Dec. 1 before District Judge Bill Todd and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
