Some area homes and businesses may experience temporary fluctuations of water pressure and clarity following the installation of new mixing equipment at the Edgewood tank in the Bradford area on Wednesday.

Consumers of the Bradford City Water Authority are cautioned that the water clarity has been temporarily disturbed in the area of Interstate Parkway, from Abbott Road to the end of the water system, including side streets.

While Water Authority crews flush the distribution lines, in an effort to eliminate any dirty water, residents and businesses in this area may experience temporary fluctuations of water pressure and clarity, executive director Steve Disney reported.

Residents and businesses that experience dirty water are asked to run cold water taps for at least 15-minute intervals periodically until water clarity is restored.
