RIDGWAY — No one was injured in a Saturday evening blaze at a home on Sheridan Avenue in Ridgway.
Ridgway-based state police fire marshal Cpl. Greg Agosti said a fire at 5:05 p.m. Saturday damaged a two-story wood frame residential dwelling owned by Dolori Pounds, 33. The home, at 600 Sheridan Ave., was unoccupied at the time of the fire, which originated in a second-floor bedroom.
“The interior of the home was in poor condition, littered with trash and waste,” Agosti noted in the police report, “therefore a damage estimate is unavailable.”
The building was not insured.
Anyone with information concerning the fire is asked to contact the Ridgway Police Department at 772-0000 or the state police fire marshal at 776-6136.
