Gift drop-off for The Era’s Less Fortunate (ELF) Fund begins today.
Volunteer gift buyers can drop off wrapped gifts with their tags from noon to 6 p.m. today at the 2017 distribution center, located at the former Goodwill space in the Save-A-Lot building at 75 Forman St., courtesy of building owner Varischetti & Sons of Brockway.
Gifts will also be collected from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
It is important that gifts are brought in on time, as The ELF Fund begins purchasing presents for unfilled tags immediately after the collection ends on Saturday.
Distribution day will be Dec. 8, and each recipient will be given a specific time to come pick up their presents.
The ELF Fund distributes tags with the Christmas wishes of needy children and seniors in the Bradford Area School District.
