COUDERSPORT — An Austin Borough man has been arrested on allegations that he threatened to kill two people in the borough Thursday evening.
According to Coudersport-based state police, at 5:25 p.m. Thursday on North Ruth Street, Austin, Michael Anthony Majot, 56, threatened during a telephone conversation to kill a 34-year-old woman from Florence, Miss., and a 57-year-old woman from Austin.
Majot was arraigned before District Judge Delores Weiss on two counts of terroristic threats, both first-degree misdemeanors; and one count of harassment, a third-degree misdemeanor, court records stated.
He was incarcerated in Potter County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, and a preliminary hearing is set for Friday.
